    Inspired by an early 20th-century worktable that belonged to one of our designer’s great-grandfathers, Benchwright’s rustic wood frame features handcrafted details like mortise and tenon joinery. There’s a strength and simplicity in the turnbuckle hardware.

    • Expertly crafted of forged iron and from thick planks of meticulously weathered and distressed hardwood, poplar veneers and MDF.
    • Due to the nature of planked wood, the table may have small spaces between the panels.
    • MDF is an engineered wood that lends exceptional strength and ensures the product’s structural integrity over time.
    • The use of veneers results in high-quality furniture that has flawless surfaces and consistent colour tones that will not be subject to cracking.
    • Finished by hand using our exclusive multi-step process that creates exceptional depth of colour.
    • Unique breadboard extensions hold drop-in leaves.
    • Adjustable levellers to add stability on uneven floors.

    CARE AND MAINTENANCE

    • To protect finish, do not apply abrasives or household cleaners, dust with soft dry cloth.
    • Always use coasters, pads cloth or felt to protect furniture surface.
    • Wipe up spills immediately.
    • Do not expose to direct sunlight or excessive temperatures.
    • Hardware may loosen over time, periodically check to make sure all connections are tight and retighten if necessary.

    We offer four types of delivery (Small Parcel, Small Standard, Standard, Deluxe) determined by the items in your order. An item's delivery type is displayed under the "Stock Status" information on each product page online. Delivery charges are calculated by destination and are charged per order. Multiple–product orders are charged according to the product with the highest delivery type.

    Customise your delivery! If you’d like to save on shipping, you may be able to change your Deluxe delivery to a lower priced Small Standard or Standard. Alternatively, you may also be able to upgrade your Small Standard or Standard delivery to experience our full Deluxe service. Either way, look for the option and your item/s eligibility at checkout.

    Sometimes products may arrive separately but you will only be charged one delivery fee per order. Also, products delivered separately may be sent via the delivery type of that product rather than the overall order. Please provide a street address for delivery — we cannot ship to PO Boxes. NOTE: In some areas, we are unable to provide our full Deluxe service.
