Start by measuring the window. To make a room feel taller, hang rods 10-15 cm above window frames. Extending the rod 8-15 cm beyond both sides of the frame makes a window feel grand and allows more light to shine through when curtains are open.
HANG
The length of your curtains can have great impact on the look of a window too. For a clean, casual look, hang curtains so that they fall just a 1 cm above the floor - especially if you open and close your curtains frequently. For a luxurious puddle effect, add 15-20 cm to the rod-to-floor measurement of the curtain.
